Rocky Flintstone describes the Duchess's nipples hardening to the size of the three-inch rivets that held the hull of the Titanic together.

The Duchess is still asleep, which gives the hosts plenty to pick at before anything has really happened. How gentle is this wakeup supposed to be? Belinda gets treated like Prince Charming for about two seconds, until the line about coming back to release her runs straight into the much less romantic problem of workplace scheduling. The servant logic falls apart quickly. One host spots the ridiculous loop that trading roles would create, while another finds the cheekiest loophole available. Then the Duchess starts crying, and her claim that she was only a reluctant player becomes the obvious target. The evidence is all over the room. There was the crop, the elaborate setup, and that drink name, so nobody is ready to hand her an innocence pass. Tea was an option. Scrabble was an option too, which makes the whole evening sound calmer and somehow more suspicious. The design show tangent lands fast: if this setup was improvised, it needed the pace of a frantic makeover. Even the wardrobe gets dragged into the case. The Duchess's loud style becomes part of the mock trial, as if costume and intent are clearly related. The plot barely moves, but the hosts make that work. Every odd phrase gets stopped and shaken down before the chapter is allowed to continue. By the end, listener questions, Rocky's supposed plan, and the sudden pull of Titanic leave the episode oddly cosy.
