She snaps after he looks through her art book and calls him a pervert.

This one opens a little sideways. Jim says the Blooming Love review feels less Luke Hollywood and more Stork, so the whole thing quickly settles into that loose duo rhythm: one of them trying to recap, the other poking at whatever odd detail just wandered past. They are only on chapter one, which becomes part of the problem. The manga seems to have started with three-chapter drops before settling into single chapters, and that changes how the first bite lands. Jim keeps coming back to the same thought: chapter one may feel thin because it was probably meant to sit next to two more pieces. Still, he is curious. The names, the setup, and the early character shape give him enough to keep going. Then the woodworking scene takes over, because of course it does. A character uses the wooden handle like the wrong side of the tool, and the correction hits the exact tiny, goofy spot this show likes. She has been watching him. That is too intense for a tool mistake, which is part of why it works. It also gives her a blunt competence Jim seems glad to see. She rolls up her sleeves, tells him to move, gets mad enough to punch the chair, and turns a basic woodworking moment into a tiny action scene. Jim thought the gag was heading somewhere else. He expected her to hand over the wrong finished thing, maybe a birdhouse instead of whatever he was making, and the joke he did not get becomes its own alternate manga pitch. Stork, meanwhile, is worried about the tools. The conversation drifts into being handy, staying away from electrical work, imagining accidents, and debating whether the supposed sledgehammer is really just a mallet. Then it gets dumber in the best way. Jim compares the tool-twirling flourish to overdone cooking videos, especially the tapping and meat-kissing bits he hates. They close by joking through one last weird image, thanking listeners, and saying the rest of the Blooming Love chapters should follow on Patreon as the week goes on.
