The setup is nicely off-balance. Jim is amused that The Yakuza's Bias is not J-pop at all, but a K-pop manga written and drawn by Teki Yatsuda. Luke has the publishing details ready. Pretty quickly, the discussion stops being a neat review and becomes two readers trying to make sense of a yakuza figure getting emotionally wrecked by MNW. Ken is gone. Fully gone. They follow how the chapter treats his fandom as both a sincere awakening and a ridiculous break from yakuza manners. Somehow, the cup becomes important. Jim sits with the cup of brotherhood idea, reading it halfway as cultural ritual and halfway as a completely absurd fan club initiation. Jun refuses the ceremony, which gives the hosts room to poke at how the manga keeps smashing underworld language into goofy idol devotion. The backstage scene could have turned meaner. Instead, the band members notice Ken's old-school cheering and hydration routine with real warmth. That gets approval. Jim sounds relieved that the story is not simply making fun of the older guy, since the performers see him as strange but kind of impressive. Then the office bit makes everything dumber in the best way. Ken is watching MNW when the usual yakuza money business walks in. The lieutenant spots it immediately. The hosts stay with that collision because the chapter's sharpest joke is criminal hierarchy losing the room to concert clips and bias talk. K-pop knowledge slips in from the side. Jim ends on Blackpink, joking that Ken would judge them for not giving everything onstage anymore. The whole recap stays loose on purpose, bouncing between plot, idol culture, manga craft, and whichever joke is closest to the page.
