The Mastermind & Founder of Made 2 Move: Meet Yves Gege

Yves says those patients' entire identity had become their pain and diagnosis.
Okay, the starting point is frustration. The show pushes back on the familiar advice that tells people in pain to stop running, stop lifting, and build their lives around symptoms. Fear is the thing getting called out. The better path, at least in this conversation, is clarity: help people understand what is going on, keep them moving, and give them a plan that fits what they actually want to do. Then the founder story gets refreshingly practical. The guest remembers being a capable clinician who cared a lot, while also having almost no idea how people were supposed to hear about the clinic. A good website was not enough. Reputation did not magically bring people through the door. Marketing had to become a real skill, so content became part of the trial and error. Somebody told him to put content out, and he started figuring out how to be found. Workshops were a rougher fit. Speaking in front of groups never sounded like his favorite lane, but one-on-one relationships with gym owners worked better. That is the useful part: the lesson is not to copy his exact tactic. It is to find the part of outreach you can actually do well. Selling was uncomfortable too. Early on, his pitch was basically, he thought he could help, did they want to come back next week? People did not stick around. The clinic had to learn clearer communication, help clients commit, and connect each visit to staying healthy and active long after the appointment. By the end, he points PTs and allied health people toward Physicaltherapybiz.com and Clinical Cashflow because he still believes the PT profession can have a huge impact in healthcare.
